Assistant Manager HSSE (Lahore)

This role is focused on ensuring the effective implementation of corporate safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant working environment. The successful candidate will identify and mitigate hazardous conditions, conduct safety audits, and deliver safety training to staff and suppliers. Working closely with the Account Manager and HSSE Manager, they will support the development and upkeep of safety standards, manage safety-related databases, and ensure adherence to industry and company regulations. Continuous improvement of safety performance through audits, training, and corrective actions is a key aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement corporate safety policies and procedures across operations.
- Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions, collaborating with line management to develop hazard control practices and programs for maintenance activities at service stations.
- Develop and manage safety induction systems for suppliers, including training delivery and monitoring effectiveness.
- Maintain and operate the HSSE Management System for services provided, ensuring knowledge transfer to line and staff management.
- Coordinate with Regional Operational Managers to ensure consistent safety standards are applied.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing accurate and comprehensive reports for the Business Systems Manager.
- Manage injury and illness databases to perform trend analyses, identify significant patterns, and develop strategies to address them.
- Develop guidelines for safety audits, report findings in line with company systems, and coordinate performance safety audits to assist in correcting deficiencies.
- Create and coordinate site-specific safety training programs, keeping materials up to date with new regulations and developments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and established safety standards.
- Perform any other HSSE-related duties as assigned by the HSSE Manager.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in safety engineering.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in HSSE management systems, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.

- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
