Assistant Manager Imports & Logistics

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee import operations, ensuring compliance with customs clearance procedures and timely freight forwarding.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to streamline logistics processes and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain thorough knowledge and application of Pakistan Customs laws, import/export procedures, and relevant documentation including PSW, WeBOC, and PCT/HS classification.
- Utilize SAP and MS Office tools to monitor shipments, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Required Qualifications:
- MS or MBA degree from a recognized institution.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in import operations, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and logistics.
- Strong understanding of Pakistan Customs regulations and import/export documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in team coordination, problem-solving, and managing supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
