The role involves leading the design, planning, evaluation, and technical governance of Civil, MEP, and infrastructure projects across nationwide Data Centers, Telehouses, and major HUB sites. This includes new building structures, construction, MEP infrastructure, and assessment of existing facilities. The candidate will join a dynamic design team of engineers and designers focused on solving complex infrastructure challenges and delivering innovative solutions. As a subject matter expert, the individual will influence civil, structural, and MEP design, provide technical guidance, oversee vendors, resolve large-scale implementation issues, and develop a deep understanding of site design, capacity planning, and expansion needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning and design oversight of nationwide Telehouse/Data Center buildings and major HUB sites, including structural evaluation, building safety, MEP infrastructure assessment, and capacity evaluation.
- Ensure all infrastructure complies with international standards, local building codes, telecom requirements, and Data Center best practices.
- Conduct surveys and technical assessments of core sites nationwide, analyzing the condition of buildings, structural systems, and MEP infrastructure.
- Identify necessary rectifications, strengthening, capacity enhancements, and disaster resilience measures addressing earthquake, fire, flooding, extreme weather, and other natural disasters.
- Review and evaluate structural assessment reports, MEP reports, electrical single-line diagrams, HVAC designs, fire protection systems, utility systems, and other technical documentation, recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and review RFPs, technical specifications, BOQs, scopes of work, tender documents, contract documents, and SLAs for Civil and MEP infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings and civil designs for Data Centers, Telehouses, major HUBs, and other critical infrastructure sites.
- Perform or coordinate structural assessments of slabs, beams, columns, foundations, roofs, and other elements, recommending strengthening and rehabilitation measures.
- Evaluate building capacity in relation to current and future requirements, including rack loading, equipment loading, battery loading, DG/transformer loading, rooftop equipment, and other imposed loads.
- Incorporate disaster risk considerations such as earthquake, wind, fire, and flood into building designs.
- Review site master plans, land utilization, building layouts, equipment rooms, and future expansion plans.
- Plan and manage MEP systems for Data Centers, Telehouses, and major HUB sites.
- Conduct infrastructure node planning and periodic capacity analysis across nationwide sites, covering space utilization, power availability, cooling capacity, structural loading, and MEP infrastructure.
- Develop short-, medium-, and long-term expansion strategies based on capacity thresholds and projected growth.
- Lead nationwide site surveys and prepare detailed Civil, Structural, and MEP assessment reports.
- Create site master plans including buildings, equipment rooms, power systems, cooling, fire protection, fuel systems, and expansion zones.
- Manage Civil and MEP infrastructure projects from concept through implementation and handover.
- Evaluate technical proposals from consultants, contractors, and OEMs; participate in technical evaluation committees.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and OEMs to ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, technical data sheets, method statements, and testing procedures.
- Monitor project progress, quality, compliance, and risks.
- Identify and manage project dependencies, provide technical support, and proactively handle scope changes and contingencies.
- Conduct technical audits and quality inspections to ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in civil, structural, and MEP design and technical governance for Data Centers, Telehouses, or similar critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in structural evaluation, building safety, and MEP infrastructure assessment.
- In-depth knowledge of international standards, local building codes, telecom requirements, and Data Center best practices.
- Proficiency in reviewing structural and MEP assessment reports, electrical diagrams, HVAC, fire protection, and utility systems.
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing RFPs, technical specifications, BOQs, tender documents, contracts, and SLAs.
- Competency in AutoCAD and civil design for complex infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning.
- Ability to conduct detailed site surveys and develop comprehensive assessment reports.
- Strong project management skills, including risk management, stakeholder coordination, and technical evaluation.
