This role is focused on enhancing and protecting organizational value, reputation, and sustainability by delivering risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insights. The position supports the governance and control environment by ensuring the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information, safeguarding company assets and reputation, promoting the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and internal controls, and ensuring compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and company principles. Additionally, the role involves following up on audit recommendations and contributing to advisory services related to governance, risk management, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform internal audit engagements across various entities within the Style Group of Industrial businesses, including Head Offices, Business Units, Sales Offices, Factories, Distribution Centers, Shared Service Centers, third-party providers, and newly acquired companies.
- Collaborate with and support the Audit Team Leader in conducting preliminary risk assessments to plan audit engagements effectively. This includes reviewing relevant documentation, interviewing key stakeholders, and initiating testing using available tools.
- Prepare comprehensive audit working papers to document findings, support conclusions, and ensure alignment with audit objectives.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders by addressing issues and resolving conflicts through proactive communication and collaboration.
- Conduct special reviews and ad hoc assignments as requested by management, including fraud investigations and cross-functional projects tailored to specific business needs.
- Ensure timely follow-up on audit findings and recommendations to strengthen internal control processes.
Required Qualifications
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting or Auditing.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an international accounting or audit firm, or within a large industrial organization. Operational experience in areas such as Finance or Industrial Performance is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will be considered an advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 100,000.
- Full-time, onsite position located at Pak Arab Society, Ferozepur Road, Lahore.
