Assistant Manager Inventory Control

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – Inventory Control to oversee inventory operations at our manufacturing facility located in Hub Chowki, Balochistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory management, including stock reconciliation, reporting, and internal controls, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Odoo ERP systems. This role requires close coordination with multiple departments to ensure smooth factory operations and accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor daily inventory activities covering raw materials, packing materials, consumables, finished goods, and other materials.
- Ensure precise recording of stock receipts, material issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments within the Odoo ERP system.
- Maintain real-time inventory records and verify that physical stock aligns with system data.
- Supervise stock receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch processes.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, periodic stocktaking, and physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Investigate stock discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor stock levels including minimum and maximum thresholds, reorder points, and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to support uninterrupted factory operations.
- Verify material requisitions, goods receipt notes (GRNs), material issue notes, and stock transfer documentation for accuracy.
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling, storage, and stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive inventory reports such as stock ageing, consumption, and variance analyses.
- Establish and enforce inventory control procedures in compliance with company policies and audit standards.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, stock movements, material wastage, and prevent avoidable losses.
- Supervise inventory staff and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Support month-end and year-end inventory closing and reconciliation processes with the Finance department.
- Identify opportunities to enhance inventory accuracy, ERP system utilization, and overall warehouse efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or stock management, preferably within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory, especially in managing inventory, stock movements, receipts, deliveries, internal transfers, adjustments, and reporting.
- Good understanding of ERP-based inventory control procedures and warehouse documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for stock reconciliation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience in physical stocktaking, inventory audits, stock variance investigation, and improving inventory accuracy.
- Excellent coordination, communication, analytical, and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ownership of inventory records.
- Ability to work independently in a factory environment.
- Pick and drop facility will be provided based on desired routes.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 95,000. This is an in-person role based at the Hub Chowki facility.
