Assistant Manager IT

We are looking for a proactive Network & Infrastructure Specialist to oversee and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless network operations and system availability across retail stores, warehouses, and corporate offices. This role involves maintaining network connectivity, servers, firewalls, and security systems to guarantee uninterrupted business functions. The specialist will monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot network and hardware issues, implement security controls, and manage backups along with disaster recovery procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Oversee servers, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and backup solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor system performance and promptly troubleshoot technical issues related to network and hardware components.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure reliable IT services and timely resolution of problems.
- Lead infrastructure enhancement projects while maintaining high service standards and minimizing downtime.
- Manage backup processes and disaster recovery strategies to protect organizational data and maintain business continuity.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in network administration, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
- Proven expertise in infrastructure management covering servers, Active Directory, virtualization, and backup solutions.
- Solid understanding of IT security principles, including firewalls, endpoint security, and disaster recovery processes.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues within enterprise IT environments efficiently.

Compensation and Work Location
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000. This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work on-site.
