Assistant Manager MIS

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new ERP system. This position involves managing the critical phases of data migration, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, change management, and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various functional departments and ERP consultants to ensure a seamless transition and optimal system performance. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train end-users effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration & Cleaning: Lead the extraction, cleaning, and validation of legacy data prior to migration into the new ERP system. Ensure accurate mapping of legacy data fields to the new ERP data structure to maintain data integrity and continuity.

Requirements Gathering & Mapping: Collaborate with functional teams such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Sales to document their specific reporting and workflow needs. Work alongside ERP consultants to translate these business requirements into precise technical configurations within the system.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Report Authoring: Actively participate in UAT to confirm that system configurations, data flows, and security profiles function as intended. Design, develop, and test standardized management information system (MIS) reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) trackers within the ERP or connected business intelligence tools.

Change Management & Training: Develop comprehensive user manuals, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the new ERP reporting modules. Conduct training sessions for end-users across the organization to empower them to independently extract data and generate reports after system launch.

Post-Go-Live Support: Provide immediate functional support following the ERP launch to address any data discrepancies, query errors, or missing reporting parameters, ensuring smooth ongoing operations.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in ERP implementation projects, particularly in data migration and system configuration.
- Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Sales functions.
- Expertise in data mapping, validation, and cleansing techniques.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing and report development within ERP or BI tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create clear training materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external consultants.
