We are looking for an experienced Project Management professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in managing government-funded projects. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in fields such as Management Sciences, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Computer Sciences, IT, or Project Management. They should have at least four years of post-qualification experience in project management or monitoring and evaluation, including a minimum of three years specifically working on PSDP projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with proven skills in planning, organizing, budgeting, and executing projects. Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English, both written and spoken, are essential. The candidate must be adaptable, collaborative, and proficient in office productivity software, including MS Project, Excel, and other internationally recognized project management tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Project Manager and ensure that all project activities are planned and executed successfully in strict accordance with the PC-1 document and the defined project scope.
- Manage contracts by drafting, executing, and resolving disputes to maintain smooth project operations.
- Prepare and submit cash plans for approval, oversee the timely release of funds, and monitor the performance of the project team.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with PPRA guidelines and relevant rules and regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records, making information readily accessible to the Director Projects, management, Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoITT), Planning, Audits, and Project Committees.
- Guarantee the availability and proper allocation of resources as directed by the supervisor.
- Assist with routine project-related tasks and undertake additional duties assigned by the Project Director.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with the Ministry of IT and other government departments regarding the release of funds.
- Organize project committee meetings and secure necessary approvals before initiating any project-related activities.
- Issue official correspondence, including office letters and orders, and prepare minutes of meetings.
- Participate in milestone review visits alongside senior management to evaluate project progress.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in Management Sciences, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Computer Sciences, IT, or Project Management.
- At least four years of post-qualification experience in project management or monitoring and evaluation, with a minimum of three years working on PSDP projects.
