Mashreq Global Network (MGN) serves as the Bank’s distributed operations platform across India, Pakistan, and Egypt, playing a crucial role in supporting Mashreq’s global service delivery strategy. This position is based within the MGN Pakistan Central Management Office and is focused on driving the strategic program agenda, ensuring robust governance across initiatives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead internal and external teams to manage various programs by defining project goals and ensuring their successful completion. Organize projects and activities in alignment with the Management by Objectives (MBOs) and the Book of Work for MGN Pakistan. Oversee ongoing project management by identifying and managing changes, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and developing plans that promote excellence in execution. Monitor project progress, identify challenges and opportunities for improvement, and produce accurate, timely project status reports.

Project Leadership and Governance: Ensure that key projects align with the MGN Pakistan strategic roadmap. Report progress, risks, and benefits to senior leadership regularly. Support the Head of MGN Pakistan in translating strategic goals into actionable programs and measurable outcomes. Maintain a centralized project documentation repository, compliance registers, and define program KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs). Track and follow up on governance forum actions to ensure accountability.

Reporting and Communication: Develop and manage dashboards, trackers, and reporting packs for project reviews and governance meetings. Design high-quality presentations and visual content to support both internal and external communications. Continuously evaluate and improve tools and templates to streamline workflows and enhance governance transparency.

Operational Support: Provide executive support to the Head of MGN Pakistan by managing calendars, communications, travel arrangements, and day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure seamless operations. Coordinate key organizational activities such as team events and stakeholder engagements.

Risk Management: Assist in mitigating regulatory risks associated with the Mashreq Global Network delivery model by ensuring compliance with relevant Pakistan regulations and the Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework. Prepare and review risk reports related to MGN central management functions for senior management and risk committees. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures, and support the development and documentation of related processes.

Governance: Support senior management in conducting the MGN Governance Forum by preparing meeting materials, recording minutes, and tracking action items to closure. Ensure that all rationale, progress, controls, and decisions are clearly documented to facilitate reviews by external regulators, internal audit, and control functions.

Required Qualifications

A university degree in Business Administration, Operations, Project Management, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have between 5 to 8 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in program or project management or governance roles within financial services, consulting, or regulated environments. A solid understanding of project management functions, documentation standards, and the project lifecycle is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills are essential, along with a pragmatic and action-oriented approach.
