This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process of retail products, specifically overseeing Personal Loans and Cards application processing. The position ensures that underwriting, CPV, and disbursal processes meet agreed service standards and comply with all product parameters and policy criteria. The incumbent will monitor service level agreements (SLA) and turnaround times (TAT), maintain quality and accuracy, and manage exception reporting. Collaboration with onshore and offshore teams, risk management, and other business stakeholders is essential to ensure smooth operations and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete onboarding process for retail products, ensuring compliance with all product parameters and policies.
- Oversee Personal Loans and Cards application processing, including underwriting, CPV, and disbursal, to meet SLA and accuracy targets.
- Conduct regular reviews of cases to ensure adherence to credit policies and risk controls.
- Track and report monthly exceptions to relevant stakeholders, following escalation protocols.
- Maintain high-quality standards within the team and ensure all required controls and procedures are in place.
- Lead and motivate the team to surpass departmental and organizational goals, improving productivity and leadership skills.
- Review daily rejects and referrals, implementing training and continuous learning to reduce errors.
- Collaborate closely with risk teams, business partners, and other unit managers to ensure effective coordination and capacity planning.
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages staff involvement and idea sharing to enhance service quality.
- Initiate and follow up on quality and productivity improvement projects.
- Escalate exceptional occurrences and report corrective and preventive actions to Unit and Division Heads.
- Ensure compliance with internal and group audit requirements.
- Represent the CIC unit in interactions with Risk Management, area managers, overseas branches, and business stakeholders.
- Drive process and product improvements while mitigating key risks through effective controls.
- Work within a centralized, outsourced environment supporting UAE and international branches.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail product onboarding or a related environment.
- At least 2-3 years in a similar role managing Personal Loans and Cards processing.
- Strong knowledge of credit policies and retail product procedures, including cards data entry and CPV processes.
- Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and develop teams.
- High level of maturity and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
- Good analytical skills with a focus on data quality and process improvement.
- Sound understanding of risk management and operating procedures.
