NASA Chemicals (Pvt.) Ltd., headquartered in Karachi, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales to support the Head of Sales in managing sales operations, performance monitoring, reporting, market development, and business growth initiatives specifically for the Lubricants Business. This role requires a candidate with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to driving sales effectiveness and expanding market presence. Only candidates with relevant experience in lubricants sales will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Business Coordination:
Assist the Head of Sales in managing nationwide sales operations and implementing execution strategies. Monitor sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly against targets. Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, distributors, and dealers to track targets and market progress. Support sales plans, promotional campaigns, and business growth initiatives. Monitor sales KPIs and ensure timely follow-up with the sales team. Help identify market opportunities and improve sales effectiveness. Assist in developing strategies to enhance product penetration, distributor performance, and territory-wise sales growth.

Sales Reporting & Data Analysis:
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales MIS and management reports. Develop and maintain sales dashboards, performance trackers, and territory-wise analysis. Analyze product-wise sales, region/territory performance, distributor/dealer effectiveness, target versus achievement, sales growth trends, SKU/product movement, and market/customer performance. Generate actionable reports and insights for the Head of Sales and senior management. Ensure accurate and timely sales data for informed decision-making.

Excel & Dashboard Management:
Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, Conditional Formatting, Data Analysis, Sales Dashboards, MIS Reporting, and Performance Trackers.

Communication & Coordination:
Manage professional email correspondence related to sales operations. Prepare sales presentations, business summaries, and management reports. Coordinate effectively with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and other relevant departments. Follow up on sales-related operational matters to ensure timely resolution. Support the Head of Sales in preparing presentations and reports for management meetings.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field from a reputable university. An MBA is preferred.

Experience Requirements
4 to 6 years of relevant sales experience with mandatory exposure to the Lubricants Industry. Experience in lubricants distribution, dealer/channel sales, automotive lubricants, industrial lubricants, or related lubricant products is highly preferred. Proven experience in sales operations, sales coordination, MIS reporting, and performance analysis is essential. Previous collaboration with National Sales Managers, Heads of Sales, or senior sales leadership will be an advantage.

Required Skills
Strong command of Microsoft Excel and sales dashboard reporting. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in professional email drafting and communication. Solid understanding of sales operations, distribution channels, sales targets, KPIs, and performance monitoring. Strong coordination and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze large volumes of sales data and present meaningful insights. Effective presentation and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Proactive, organized, and result-oriented mindset.

Location
This position is based at the Head Office in Karachi and requires in-person attendance.

Compensation
The monthly salary range for this role is Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 140,000.
