PrimeTelePower Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager Technical to join its Technical Department in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical projects, supervising technical teams, and ensuring the efficient maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems. This role requires hands-on experience in project execution, technical coordination, and maintenance activities to support the company’s operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Technical Manager in planning and executing electrical projects to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Conduct detailed site surveys and assess technical requirements for various electrical installations.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender documentation.
- Supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Diagnose electrical faults promptly and coordinate effective breakdown resolution.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs while monitoring the quality of ongoing work.
- Evaluate supplier quotations for technical compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate closely with clients, procurement teams, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, manage costs, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant electrical standards and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Required Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree (BE/BS) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong background in preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience in electrical project execution, supervision, and conducting site surveys.
- Competency in preparing BOQs, technical proposals, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Familiarity with tender documentation, quotation evaluation, and providing procurement support.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, technicians, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and preparing technical reports.

Technical Competencies

- Expertise in electrical systems including HT/LT distribution, switchgear, protection devices, and distribution boards.
- Knowledge of equipment such as transformers, motors, MCC/PCC panels, generators, and UPS systems.
- Understanding of power management concepts including earthing, APFC, power factor correction, voltage regulation, and load management.
- Skilled in fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficient in project execution tasks such as site surveys, resource planning, BOQ preparation, and work supervision.
- Strong documentation skills including technical reports, method statements, work plans, and maintenance records.
- Basic knowledge of energy efficiency practices including conducting energy audits and load optimization.
