PrimeTelePower Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager Technical to join its Technical Department in Islamabad. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing electrical projects, supervising technical teams, and ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. This position requires a hands-on approach to project execution, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Technical Manager in planning and executing electrical projects efficiently.
- Conduct detailed site surveys to assess technical requirements and project feasibility.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender documentation.
- Supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
- Diagnose electrical faults promptly and coordinate effective breakdown resolution.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance activities while monitoring work quality.
- Evaluate supplier quotations for technical compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain coordination with clients, procurement teams, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
- Monitor project progress, control costs, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure all activities comply with electrical standards and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

Required Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree (BE/BS) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong background in preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance procedures.
- Experience in electrical project execution, supervision, and conducting site surveys.
- Ability to prepare BOQs, technical proposals, specifications, and cost estimates accurately.
- Familiarity with tender documentation, quotation evaluation, and procurement processes.
- Skilled in coordinating with clients, technicians, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Competence in testing, commissioning, and preparing technical reports.

Technical Competencies

- Expertise in electrical systems including HT/LT distribution, switchgear, protection, and distribution boards.
- Knowledge of equipment such as transformers, motors, MCC/PCC panels, generators, and UPS systems.
- Understanding of power management concepts including earthing, APFC, power factor correction, voltage regulation, and load management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Experience in project execution tasks such as site surveys, resource planning, BOQ preparation, and work supervision.
- Proficient in documentation including technical reports, method statements, work plans, and maintenance records.
- Basic knowledge of energy efficiency practices, including conducting energy audits and load optimization.
