Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Finance

We are looking for a skilled finance professional to oversee financial operations, reporting, analysis, and budgeting within our business line. The ideal candidate will have completed their articleship at a reputable audit firm, be a CA or ACCA finalist, and bring prior experience from the IT sector. This role demands a strong understanding of financial management practices and the ability to support business decisions through insightful financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage financial reporting, accounting operations, and month-end/year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability assessments and budget-versus-actual variance analysis.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, expenses, and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and provide actionable financial insights to aid business decision-making.
- Maintain robust internal financial controls and coordinate effectively with external auditors during audits.

Required Qualifications

- CA or ACCA finalist status is mandatory.
- Completion of articleship from a reputable audit or accounting firm.
- Prior experience working in an IT company is essential.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or financial management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
