Assistant Merchandiser

Sherwani Apparel is seeking a dedicated Assistant Merchandiser to join our knitted garments team based in Karachi. This full-time, onsite role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the apparel merchandising sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing order details, coordinating production processes, and ensuring timely delivery of quality knitwear products.

Key Responsibilities
- Track and confirm order details including size, quantity, fabric, and color specifications.
- Follow up on sample approvals and monitor production timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain the Time & Action (T&A) calendar, identifying and reporting any delays promptly.
- Coordinate packing, dispatch, and prepare shipping documentation to facilitate smooth logistics.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Textile, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in apparel merchandising; fresh graduates with relevant educational background are also encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of knit fabrics, trims, and garment construction processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong follow-up abilities, excellent time management, and effective communication skills in both English and Urdu.
