All Nations Wholesale is seeking a dedicated Assistant Procurement Manager to join their team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The company specializes in connecting European retailers with trusted ethnic and international FMCG brands through a reliable distribution network, ensuring diverse and high-quality products reach multicultural consumer markets. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, the Assistant Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in linking global suppliers with European operations, ensuring timely shipments that are fully documented and compliant with regulations. This position involves supporting procurement activities such as sourcing FMCG products, evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate cost-effective supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands and suppliers, keeping price lists, terms, and agreements current.
- Manage purchase orders from confirmation through to delivery in Europe, coordinating closely with suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Verify export documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates such as origin, health, phytosanitary, and halal.
- Research new products and brands, approach potential partners for European distribution rights, and prepare detailed landed cost calculations.
- Ensure compliance by reviewing lab reports, product labels, allergens, and shelf life in accordance with EU regulations before shipment.
- Assist with contract drafting and administration, track supplier performance, and collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and sales to align procurement decisions with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, analyze pricing and cost data, and recommend improvements to procurement processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or import/export, preferably within the food or FMCG sector.
- Solid understanding of export documentation, Incoterms, and payment terms such as Letters of Credit (LC) and Telegraphic Transfer (TT).
- Proficiency in English, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with high integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to visit suppliers as needed and coordinate working hours to overlap with the European team.
