The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to join its team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site role involves managing procurement activities to support the organization’s operations and strategic goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in supplier evaluation, quotation analysis, vendor selection, and contract management, ensuring all procurement processes align with PCB’s policies and budgetary constraints. Collaboration with various internal departments and stakeholders is essential to maintain smooth procurement workflows and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, collection and analysis of quotations, and preparation of comparative statements.
- Assist in vendor selection processes in accordance with PCB policies and standards.
- Participate in contract negotiation and contract management, ensuring compliance with budget, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with finance and other stakeholders regarding purchase orders, delivery schedules, and resolution of procurement-related issues.
- Contribute to the enhancement of procurement processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure reliable supply of goods and services by managing supplier relationships and monitoring performance.

Required Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and experience in procurement processes and supplier evaluation.
- Proven ability in contract negotiation and contract management, with a focus on compliance and cost control.
- Solid analytical skills for reviewing bids, assessing supplier performance, and preparing data-driven recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems, with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, sports-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Professional procurement certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are advantageous.
- Experience working in public sector organizations, sports administration, or large-scale procurement environments is desirable.
