Assistant Procurement Manager

All Nations Wholesale is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to join their team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The company specializes in connecting European retailers with trusted ethnic and international FMCG brands through an efficient distribution network. This role supports the Procurement Manager by ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective sourcing and delivery of products from global suppliers to European markets. The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating purchase orders, verifying export documentation, and assisting in contract administration. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and sales to align procurement activities with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brands, keeping price lists, terms, and agreements current.
- Manage purchase orders from confirmation through to delivery in Europe, liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Verify export documents including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates related to origin, health, phytosanitary, and halal compliance.
- Research new products and brands, approach potential suppliers for European distribution rights, and prepare landed cost calculations.
- Ensure compliance by reviewing lab reports, labels, allergens, and shelf life according to EU regulations prior to shipment.
- Assist with contract drafting and administration, track supplier performance, and coordinate with internal departments to support procurement decisions.
- Monitor market trends, analyze pricing and cost data, and recommend improvements to procurement processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or import/export, preferably within the food or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, and payment terms such as Letters of Credit (LC) and Telegraphic Transfer (TT).
- Fluency in English with proficient skills in Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills, high integrity, and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to visit suppliers as needed and overlap working hours with the European team.
