Assistant Professor - Cyber Security

Air University is seeking qualified candidates for two positions in the Cyber Security department at its Main Campus in Islamabad. The ideal applicants will hold a PhD in Cyber Security or a related field within the Computing discipline. Candidates with relevant cyber security experience will be given preference. The terminal degree must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and for foreign qualifications, an HEC equivalence certificate is mandatory. This role requires candidates to have experience in online teaching and is open to applicants aged between 20 and 58 years. The deadline to apply is October 25, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality online and on-campus instruction in cyber security courses.
- Develop and update curriculum content to reflect current trends and technologies in cyber security.
- Engage in research activities related to cyber security and contribute to academic publications.
- Supervise student projects, theses, and provide academic guidance.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance the overall educational environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning and development.

Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Cyber Security or a closely related field within the Computing discipline.
- Terminal degree must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- For foreign degrees, an HEC equivalence letter is required.
- Proven experience in online teaching methodologies.
- Age between 20 and 58 years.
