This full-time, on-site position is based in Lahore at Sundar Estates, focusing on quality assurance and quality control within food and pharmaceutical plant systems. The Assistant QAQC will play a vital role in testing enzyme production, product development, and processing activities. The role demands ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest quality of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and purity of inoculum, production media, and the effectiveness of antibiotics used during enzyme production.
- Monitor the development and manufacturing of thermostable enzymes derived from genetically engineered, high enzyme-producing bacterial cultures.
- Verify the quality and appropriateness of materials, equipment, and resources utilized in both laboratory and production environments.
- Oversee in-process testing and continuous quality monitoring throughout production to maintain consistent enzyme quality.
- Review testing results of finished products and monitor the shelf life of both liquid and powdered enzyme products in storage.
- Develop, review, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality procedures, records, and other documentation in line with applicable regulations.
- Support equipment validation and calibration processes, and provide training to laboratory personnel on quality procedures, testing methodologies, and relevant standards.
- Monitor adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and certification guidelines, coordinating with other departments to ensure effective implementation.
- Analyze quality data, maintain comprehensive records, assist with audits, and identify areas for quality and process improvements through investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (M.Phil) in Microbiology.
- Industry certifications related to food safety, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or quality management such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or cGMP are essential.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:

- The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 55,000.
