Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated professional to support cost estimation, quantity calculations, and cost control for various construction and development projects. The role involves working closely with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting and efficient resource management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to support project planning and execution.
- Assist in developing cost estimates, budgets, and material quantity calculations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Review project drawings and specifications to verify scope and requirements.
- Conduct rate analyses and verify contractor bills to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- Track project expenses diligently and maintain comprehensive cost records for reporting purposes.
- Coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, and site teams to facilitate smooth project operations.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in construction or real estate development projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD for data analysis and drawing reviews.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills combined with effective communication abilities.

Work Location

This position requires on-site presence to collaborate directly with project teams and stakeholders.
