This full-time position is based on-site in Karachi, Pakistan, within the Spare Parts Department, working the morning shift. The role involves managing various aspects of automotive parts handling, including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and tracking inventory. The assistant will support both technicians and suppliers, maintain accurate stock records, and actively participate in periodic stock counts. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and a readiness to perform routine tasks related to parts management.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming automotive parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Store parts systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and maintain organization.
- Issue parts to technicians and other departments as needed, ensuring proper documentation.
- Track and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records using spreadsheets or inventory management software.
- Support technicians and suppliers by providing timely information and assistance related to parts.
- Participate in regular stock counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate level education or a relevant diploma in a related field.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets or inventory software for record-keeping.
