We are seeking a dedicated Assistant – Supply Chain to support the Head of Supply Chain in overseeing local and import purchasing, material planning, supplier coordination, logistics, inventory management, and other supply chain activities. The primary goal of this role is to ensure the timely availability of materials necessary for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage both local and import purchasing activities efficiently.
- Handle the processing of RFQs, quotations, comparisons, purchase orders, and all related procurement documentation.
- Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, both domestic and international, to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor and follow up on orders, shipments, deliveries, and import documentation to ensure timely receipt.
- Support material planning efforts, maintain inventory control, and address any shortages proactively.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and other relevant departments to streamline supply chain processes.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and continuously monitor cost, quality, lead times, and delivery performance.
- Assist the Head of Supply Chain with reporting and manage day-to-day supply chain matters as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Proven experience in both local and import procurement processes.
- Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, advanced MS Excel skills, negotiation tactics, and supplier management.

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs75,000.
