Associate, Area Manager

We are currently seeking a motivated professional to join our team in Sialkot to support vendor onboarding and development, ensuring a seamless partnership experience and contributing to the growth of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct face-to-face meetings with vendors to facilitate onboarding, including delivering tailored training manuals designed specifically for each partner. Provide ongoing support and maintain regular contact to address vendor issues.
- Take charge of onboarding various shops and restaurants across different locations within the city, ensuring all targeted vendors are integrated effectively.
- Collaborate closely and proactively with cross-functional teams such as Supply, Live Operations, Sales, Account Management, and Content to ensure all tasks and requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Research potential accounts, identify key stakeholders and decision-makers, and generate interest in foodpanda’s platform.
- Oversee newly onboarded vendors to drive operational excellence, focusing on commercial performance, use of internal tools and systems, and managing special projects as needed.
- Support vendor development post-acquisition by maximizing their potential through continuous onboarding and incubation efforts.
- Manage and resolve vendor inquiries, issues, and escalations promptly to maintain a positive vendor experience.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure a smooth vendor journey and uphold high standards of vendor satisfaction within the platform.
- Conduct daily field visits to ensure that all targeted shops are onboarded properly and that no strategic brand or category is missed within the assigned region.
- Maintain accurate logs and update inventory records using Salesforce.
- Provide comprehensive training and support during the initial onboarding month to ensure vendors are fully equipped to succeed on the platform.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 4 years of experience in e-commerce or FMCG sales, with a strong understanding of vendor management and onboarding processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively engage and secure vendor partnerships.
- Must be based in Sialkot to facilitate regular on-site vendor interactions and field visits.
