Associate Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Business Analyst to join our team, supporting the delivery of eCommerce (B2C and B2B) and custom web solutions for international clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development processes and be comfortable collaborating with clients, business stakeholders, designers, developers, and QA teams. This role involves gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, supporting project planning, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring solutions meet client expectations. Working in an AI-first environment, you will leverage AI tools daily to enhance research, documentation, and validation efforts, allowing you to focus on client understanding, critical thinking, and making quality decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in client discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business needs, workflows, and objectives.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into clear, actionable tasks for design and development teams.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Software Requirements Specifications (SRSs), Statements of Work (SOWs), user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and test cases.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate documentation, requirement analysis, and research, including converting meeting notes into structured requirements, drafting user stories, generating test case coverage, and identifying gaps or edge cases, while ensuring accuracy and ownership of all outputs.
- Assist in defining project scope, identifying dependencies, assumptions, risks, and edge cases.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, QA, and project managers to ensure clear understanding and implementation of requirements.
- Research and evaluate third-party tools, integrations, APIs, and platform features relevant to project needs.
- Support solution validation, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing to confirm features meet business requirements.
- Create wireframes, mockups, workflows, and process diagrams as needed.
- Continuously improve team workflows by developing and sharing effective AI-assisted prompts, templates, and processes that reduce repetitive work and enhance consistency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Software Development, or a related role.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong skills in requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and communication.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and actionable development tasks.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management and documentation tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of APIs.
- Hands-on experience using AI assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) for drafting, summarizing, analysis, research, writing clear prompts, and critically verifying AI-generated outputs for accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Familiarity with design and diagramming tools such as Figma or Draw.io for wireframes, workflows, and process documentation.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify (including Plus), WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
- Ability to build reusable AI workflows, including custom GPTs, Claude Projects, prompt libraries, or structured review frameworks for business analysis and presales activities.
- Exposure to AI-assisted prototyping, no-code/low-code automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n), or AI features integrated into Jira, Confluence, or Figma.
