Associate, Credit Client Support

Client Services Associates serve as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely to optimize workflows and streamline research and data analysis needs. This role offers comprehensive on-the-job training covering areas such as Fixed Income, Ratings Direct, the Credit Analytics platform, and Office Plug-in. After an initial 1-2 months of training, associates begin supporting clients through phone, web chats, and emails, gaining deep knowledge of data content, customer segments, and additional S&P Global platforms. Certification assessments ensure proficiency before associates proactively engage clients, providing tailored training to maximize the use of S&P Global Market Intelligence products. The role involves supporting credit products on Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro and requires collaboration with internal teams including Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in comprehensive training programs to develop expertise in financial products and client communication.
- Support clients via phone, email, and web chat, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to credit products.
- Successfully complete certification assessments to validate knowledge and skills.
- Proactively reach out to clients to deliver customized training and support based on their workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support to ensure seamless client service.
- Develop a strong understanding of client needs and provide solutions that enhance their use of S&P Global Market Intelligence offerings.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Up to 6 months of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles to effectively resolve client queries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and customer service abilities.
- Enthusiasm for building relationships with finance professionals and a genuine interest in the financial services industry.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
