Associate Data Analytics & Insights

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking an Associate Data Analytics & Insights professional to support the bank’s operations by ensuring compliance with internal policies and State Bank of Pakistan’s prudential regulations. This role involves managing and analyzing complex financial data to meet the periodic and ongoing data requirements of regulators, corporate partners, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will work with large datasets, transforming and modeling data to generate actionable insights that drive decision-making, enhance product features, and improve business processes. They will also maintain dashboards and reports for management, oversee data validation, and ensure adherence to audit observations related to data quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and SBP regulations to facilitate smooth and consistent operations.
- Manage and fulfill timely, accurate data requests from regulators, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Extract data from financial systems using advanced queries and perform complex data analysis.
- Maintain strict adherence to audit observations from both internal and external audits concerning data integrity.
- Develop and update dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights to management and other stakeholders.
- Work with large datasets by managing, transforming, and modeling data to support decision-making and customer solutions.
- Conduct statistical evaluations and business analysis to support product enhancements and modifications.
- Implement and monitor data validation processes to identify and correct errors promptly.
- Perform regular audits and reviews of data processes to uphold high data quality standards.
- Manage loan management datasets, ensuring data reliability and system performance.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, IT teams, and customer service to resolve data-related issues and improve loan processing systems.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel.
- Strong experience with SQL, Trino database, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Server Management Studio.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of financial systems databases, data analysis techniques, and reporting automation.
