Associate, Demand Planning

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to join our team and contribute to efficient inventory management and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop daily and weekly replenishment plans at the supplier level, using inventory parameters, actual sell-out data, and forecasted demand.
- Participate actively in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Calculate accurate supply plans based on demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning documents and KPI reports reflecting actual performance.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels in distribution centers and stores by monitoring target days of cover, availability, and shrinkage targets.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team to refine and adjust forecast plans as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers to align deliveries and drive fulfillment performance.
- Monitor supplier-related issues and escalate when necessary to maintain product availability.
- Identify slow-moving SKUs and alert relevant stakeholders to initiate corrective actions.
- Detect SKUs with no inventory movement for 28 days and flag for review.
- Work cross-functionally to support projects, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks relevant to the supply planning function as required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in demand or supply planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, as well as knowledge of SQL.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience in FMCG or grocery retail sectors is a plus.
- Background in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
