Associate DevOps Engineer - AWS

We are seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer with practical experience in AWS cloud services, containerization, and deployment automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, particularly in managing AWS infrastructure and working with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Amazon EKS.
- Support Kubernetes workloads, including deployments, services, and basic cluster operations.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Use Docker to create and manage containerized application environments.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation efforts with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor application performance, resolve deployment issues, and ensure system availability.
- Work within Linux environments, manage version control with Git, and handle basic networking configurations.
- Adhere to cloud security best practices and collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows.

Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
- Basic knowledge of EKS and Kubernetes concepts.
- Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipeline tools.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, Git version control, and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, cloud security principles, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is advantageous.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- AWS certification is considered a plus.
- Prior exposure to Kubernetes cluster management and production-level deployments is beneficial.

Additional Information
- Working hours are from 1 PM to 10 PM.
- The position is based in DHA Phase 3, Lahore.
