Associate DevOps Engineer (Onsite, Karachi, PKR Salary)

We are seeking an entry-level DevOps Engineer with 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or systems-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Linux, networking, Git, and scripting, along with familiarity in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and basic knowledge of containerization and infrastructure security are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to ensure smooth software delivery.
- Support the provisioning, configuration, and routine maintenance of cloud resources across various platforms.
- Work with Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads, helping set up and manage development and production environments.
- Monitor system health by reviewing logs, alerts, and infrastructure metrics to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in incident triage, escalation, and thorough documentation to maintain operational stability.
- Assist with access management, secrets handling, backups, and adherence to operational checklists to ensure security and reliability.
- Maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation and runbooks to support team knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including development, quality assurance, security, and infrastructure to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or related projects with a basic understanding of Linux, networking, Git, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with at least one pipeline tool such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Basic exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with knowledge of cloud resource management and deployment.
- Awareness of containerization technologies such as Docker and monitoring tools, alongside a fundamental understanding of infrastructure security principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to document and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience or exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions is highly desirable.
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications or academic/personal projects demonstrating cloud deployment or automation experience.
- Willingness to work under guidance with strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to escalate risks and incidents proactively.
- Reliable collaboration skills and commitment to maintaining thorough documentation.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
