The Assistant Manager Finance - Revenue at IBA Karachi will be responsible for managing the institution’s revenue streams, overseeing financial transactions, and preparing detailed reports to support analysis and decision-making. This role involves handling receivables from students and corporate entities, managing fee structures, and maintaining accurate records within the ERP system. The position requires close coordination with various departments to ensure timely recovery of dues and compliance with financial policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of student financial affairs, including fee assessment, invoicing, and recovery of outstanding payments.
- Manage all revenue streams, including those from corporate partnerships and ancillary services.
- Address and resolve student inquiries related to fees and charges, providing guidance to facilitate account clearance.
- Execute efficient recovery processes for outstanding dues from both students and corporate clients.
- Prepare budget forecasts and generate related financial reports to support management decisions.
- Ensure timely management and submission of tax obligations related to student finances and other services.
- Lead the revenue function by resolving queries and concerns effectively.
- Develop and customize financial reports tailored to organizational needs.
- Regularly update policies and procedures within the revenue management area to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Formulate and implement pricing strategies aligned with institutional goals.
- Conduct thorough analyses of various revenue streams to inform strategic planning.
- Support financial audits related to revenue management.
- Initiate and lead business improvement projects aimed at streamlining processes, reducing turnaround times, and enhancing overall efficiency.
- Design mechanisms to improve the dissemination of financial information to internal staff and external stakeholders, including students and corporate partners.
- Identify and implement innovative approaches to increase revenue receipts.
- Maximize the use of the ERP system for optimal revenue management and reporting efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (M.Com, MBA) or professional qualifications such as CA Finalist, ACMA, or ACCA.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance or a related field.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial oversight, and tax management.
- Proficiency in database management and customer relationship management systems.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle stakeholder inquiries effectively.
