Associate Engineer – Electrical
We are seeking a motivated Associate Engineer – Electrical to join our team in DHA Phase 3, Lahore. This full-time position involves supporting the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems specifically for medical devices. The role requires hands-on work with analog and digital circuits, PCB layouts, embedded systems, and electrical testing equipment within a regulated and multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar software.
- Support the design and development of analog and digital circuits as well as embedded systems.
- Perform prototyping, soldering, and assembly of PCBs and electronic components.
- Conduct validation and performance testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other laboratory instruments.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues in both new and existing designs.
- Assist with component selection and preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Participate actively in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and design records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and internal development procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical design, PCB development, testing, or product development.
- Foundational knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Basic understanding of embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar software.
- Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement instruments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good technical documentation and reporting abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a structured engineering environment.
