Associate I - Assurance Transformation

At PwC, the audit and assurance team is dedicated to delivering independent and objective evaluations of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information. This work enhances the credibility and reliability of data for various stakeholders. The team also assesses compliance with regulations, governance frameworks, risk management processes, and related controls. Within the business transformation digital solutions area, professionals support clients through large-scale digital initiatives involving platforms such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Workday, and Identity and Access Management tools. The role involves helping clients manage risks and controls during their transformation journeys by evaluating ERP security, business processes, and IT General Controls, while providing guidance on best practices.

This position supports the design, implementation, adoption, and governance of digital transformation efforts within the Assurance practice. The focus is on enabling audit teams through innovative technologies, driving user adoption, supporting process improvements, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and contributing to the deployment of emerging audit and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the implementation and rollout of assurance technologies and digital transformation initiatives across the firm.
- Assist with user adoption activities, including communications, awareness campaigns, and change management efforts.
- Collaborate with methodology leaders, territory stakeholders, and project teams to gather requirements, secure approvals, and prepare for implementation.
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and opportunities for audit innovation.
- Coordinate meetings, stakeholder interviews, project communications, and activities within the transformation network.
- Monitor project progress, maintain documentation repositories, and track implementation actions, risks, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Fresh graduates as well as candidates with one or more years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate sound management acumen.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Candidates with knowledge or experience in the following areas will find this role particularly rewarding: AI fluency, audit internal controls, business process improvement, digital tooling, ERP system integration (especially SAP ERP and related modules such as SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance, SAP HCM, and SAP Supply Chain Management), IT controls, security control assessments, and BASIS database management. Additional competencies such as emotional regulation, empathy, intellectual curiosity, optimism, and inclusion are valued. Familiarity with emerging audit innovations and AI-human collaboration is a plus.
