We are currently expanding our Corporate & Commercial Division at our Islamabad office and are seeking two qualified Associates to join our team under the leadership of Mr. Sohail Khan Nasar, Partner. The Division provides expert legal advice to both domestic and international clients on matters including mergers and restructuring, technology and intellectual property licensing and enforcement, regulatory compliance, and cross-border investments. Our work frequently involves engagements with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the Intellectual Property Organisation of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan), and the Board of Investment. Associates will have the opportunity to work closely with Partners on significant institutional and cross-border mandates from the outset.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and advice on corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
- Draft and review transactional documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal due diligence to assess risks and compliance issues related to corporate transactions.
- Engage regularly with regulatory bodies such as SECP, IPO-Pakistan, and the Board of Investment to ensure compliance and facilitate approvals.
- Perform detailed legal research across case law, statutes, and regulatory frameworks to support client matters.
- Collaborate directly with Partners and senior legal professionals on cross-border and institutional mandates, contributing to strategic legal solutions.

Required Qualifications
- LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid license to practice as an Advocate of the High Court.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience specializing in corporate and commercial law.
- Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act, 2017, and SECP regulatory and filing requirements.
- Proven experience in transactional drafting and legal due diligence.
- Excellent legal research skills with the ability to work independently and analyze complex legal issues.
- Strong analytical abilities and superior written communication skills, with an excellent command of English.
