Associate Legal & Commercial

We are seeking skilled lawyers based in Lahore who thrive in a collaborative environment and are experienced in handling high-stakes commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and corporate advisory work. Opportunities are available for Associates in both Litigation and Commercial law at a reputable law firm offering Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Litigation, Transaction, and Regulatory services. Candidates with 2-4 years of experience in corporate law or 3-6 years of active court practice are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

For Litigation Associates, responsibilities include independently managing court appearances, preparing cases, and drafting legal documents related to civil, commercial, service, and administrative matters. A strong command of legal research, procedural laws, and regulatory frameworks is essential.

Corporate Law Associates will focus on corporate advisory tasks such as contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and handling matters related to companies, joint ventures, and due diligence. They will also be involved in commercial transactions and provide support on regulatory issues across various sectors.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be Lahore-based and demonstrate proficiency in legal research and computer skills. Litigation Associates should have 3 to 6 years of active court practice and hold a valid High Court license. Strong drafting skills and a proven ability to manage cases independently are required.

Corporate Law Associates must possess an LL.B. degree from a recognized university, with 2 to 4 years of relevant commercial law experience. Exceptional skills in legal research, drafting, and English communication (both written and verbal) are necessary. A solid foundation in corporate law, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance is expected.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

For Corporate Law Associates, an LL.M. degree or foreign qualifications such as UK credentials are considered advantageous. Experience in sectors like energy, power, telecom, or public procurement laws is preferred, enhancing the candidate’s ability to handle specialized regulatory matters.
