Associate Manager - Quality & Hygiene

Key Responsibilities

- Support the analysis and continuous improvement of quality and food safety standards across store operations.
- Implement internal quality and hygiene procedures to maintain consistent standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to hygiene procedures to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
- Research and keep updated records of all developments and regulatory changes in food safety.
- Execute corrective actions based on audit findings to address any non-compliance issues.
- Foster a culture of hygiene and food safety awareness within the store environment to uphold the highest quality standards.
- Monitor the storage of fresh food items, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Report on food storage practices to confirm compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the segregation, storage, and timely removal of all waste materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Deliver training programs for staff involved in food handling and waste management to reinforce best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food quality control, with at least 3 years in a retail environment involving food products.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple quality assurance activities effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in monitoring and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with processes related to product development and monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement solutions promptly.
