Associate Project Manager (APM)

This role involves supporting the Program/Project Manager by reporting on project progress and providing regular updates to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive project plans, set realistic timelines, and prepare budgets to guide project execution.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met within the agreed timeframes.
- Coordinate and manage team resources, assign responsibilities, and provide direction to team members.
- Design and implement training programs and strategies for technical staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Analyze project requirements and standards, planning accordingly to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Oversee daily tasks of technical personnel, ensuring alignment with project milestones and goals.
- Clearly define deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff involved in specific projects or initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure transparency and address any concerns promptly.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), project management methodologies, and Agile frameworks.
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing emerging talent within technology teams.
- Proven managerial skills with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to anticipate potential challenges and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks.
