The Network of Organizations Working for Persons with Disabilities (NOWPDP) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2008 with a mission to promote the welfare, education, skills development, and economic empowerment of persons with disabilities. The organization is seeking a motivated individual to support its fundraising efforts, grant application processes, donor relationship management, and revenue generation activities based in Lahore. This role will play a key part in executing NOWPDP’s resource mobilization strategies, maintaining donor databases, and implementing special projects that further the organization’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising:
Assist in the implementation of corporate and crowdfunding strategies aimed at achieving regional fundraising targets. Support line management in identifying local fundraising opportunities within Lahore and the broader Punjab region. Coordinate with internal teams to collect necessary information and documentation for fundraising campaigns. Maintain regular communication and engagement with existing local donors and supporters. Compile, organize, and update databases of donors, corporate partners, and executed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

Grants:
Conduct research to identify relevant national, regional, and international grant opportunities. Assist in drafting grant applications, proposals, logical frameworks, pitch decks, and preliminary budgets under the guidance of the Manager or Head of Department. Ensure timely compilation and submission of progress reports and other documentation required by grantors and donors. Track grant application timelines and maintain an updated repository of submitted proposals and reporting deadlines.

Revenue Generation & Partnerships:
Explore local opportunities to support NOWPDP’s social enterprise and revenue-generating initiatives. Support the Partnerships team by liaising with local corporate partners, donor agencies, and regional networks. Coordinate with internal departments such as Programs, Marketing & Communications, and Administration to streamline proposal requirements and deliverables. Assist in executing engagement plans and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with regional partners and donors.

Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

Experience:
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, donor relations, proposal writing, or business development. Experience within the NGO or social sector is preferred.

Required Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Urdu. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent research and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines. A proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
