Associate Senior Automation QA Test Engineer (4–6 Years) – Fintech/Core Banking | Selenium & Java – LHR

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial or banking domains and possess hands-on experience with automation tools for web and mobile applications. This role involves designing comprehensive test plans, executing automated and manual tests, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. The position is based onsite in Lahore, with working hours from 10 AM to 7 PM, Sunday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases covering both manual and automated testing scenarios.
- Configure and utilize Selenium automation tools effectively for web and mobile application testing.
- Design and implement automation frameworks using tools such as TestNG, Cucumber/BDD, and Robot Framework.
- Create and maintain equipment automation plans to support testing activities.
- Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing efforts to align with project timelines and quality standards.
- Perform regression testing through automation to ensure software stability after changes.
- Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support to external users and stakeholders, facilitating smooth validation processes.
- Continuously explore and adopt new testing strategies to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Deliver regular, accurate status updates and insights to project teams and management.
- Flexibly switch between manual and automation testing tasks based on project needs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in software testing within the financial or banking domain, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in Selenium automation for both web and mobile platforms.
- Experience with performance and stress testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks including TestNG, Cucumber/BDD, and Robot Framework.
- Practical knowledge of mobile automation tools like Appium or similar.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is preferred.
- Working knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools, preferably JIRA and Zephyr.
- Solid understanding of various testing types including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and database testing.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in API and services testing is considered a plus.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
