Associate Software Engineer - Backend

KoderLabs is seeking an Associate Software Engineer - Backend to join their dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about writing clean, efficient code and eager to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and application logic to support various projects.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage, optimize, and secure data.
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs to ensure smooth functionality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Adhere to coding standards, version control protocols, and software development methodologies.
- Participate actively in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous process improvement.
- Stay updated with new tools, technologies, and frameworks relevant to project requirements and adopt them as needed.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Basic knowledge of backend development concepts and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with at least one backend programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, PHP, or C#.
- Basic experience with databases, SQL, and data modeling principles.
- Working knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of software development principles, debugging, and testing methodologies.
