Associate Software Engineer

UTECH HUB is seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join their team onsite in Johar Town, Lahore. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with up to one year of experience who possess strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be expected to effectively leverage modern AI development tools to enhance software development processes. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain software features with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
- Work extensively with APIs, integrations, databases, and web applications to build robust solutions.
- Adhere to coding standards and software development best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues independently.
- Utilize AI-powered tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms for development, debugging, testing, research, and documentation tasks.
- Critically review and validate AI-generated code to ensure accuracy and reliability rather than relying on it blindly.
- Continuously update knowledge of emerging technologies and improve development productivity through learning and innovation.

Required Qualifications
- 0 to 1 year of professional software development experience.
- Strong foundation in programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, databases, Git version control, and web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI development tools and the ability to use them effectively.
- Quick learner with good communication skills and a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks.
- Ability to understand existing codebases and independently troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- While Salesforce experience is not required, knowledge of Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flows, or integrations is considered an advantage. Training can be provided for interested candidates.
