Associate Solutions Engineer

This role involves gathering, analyzing, and detailing software requirements, covering functional, quality, usability, and other non-functional aspects. The candidate will study the business environment related to software and product development, including the organizational structure, systems, stakeholders, and the circumstances driving the software need. They will develop requirement specifications and related documentation, support the project team during impact analysis for software change requests, and engage with subject matter experts and customers to clarify business needs. Additionally, the role requires capturing project and product vision, coordinating with stakeholders to prioritize deliverables, and collaborating with architects and teams to elaborate requirements in detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Elicit, analyze, elaborate, and specify software requirements, including functional, quality, usability, and non-functional requirements.
- Study the business context for software and product development, understanding the business structure, relevant systems, stakeholders, and circumstances leading to software needs.
- Develop requirements specifications and related artifacts to guide development.
- Facilitate project teams during impact analysis for software change requests.
- Interact with subject matter experts, customers, and other requirement providers to elicit and clarify business requirements.
- Capture project and product vision through ongoing interactions with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with requirements providers and Project Managers to prioritize project deliverables effectively.
- Collaborate with requirement providers, Project Managers, Software Architects, and teams to analyze and elaborate requirements to an appropriate level of detail.
- Develop external design specifications and assist Architects and Team Leads in refining these specifications.
- Facilitate a common understanding of requirements within the project team and resolve any conflicts.
- Act as an internal requirements provider by suggesting product enhancements that offer competitive advantages.
- Support Software Architects, Quality Assurance, and relevant stakeholders in validating requirements.
- Participate in process definition and improvement initiatives in coordination with Quality Engineering.
- Take responsibility for information security tasks within the scope of assigned work.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Experience ranging from 6 months to 3 years in a relevant role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Domain knowledge in Prepaid Card services, Banking Services, and financial services.
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
- Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.
- Experience with full-cycle Business Intelligence (BI) implementations, from requirements gathering to delivery.
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
- Familiarity with modeling techniques and methods.
- Capability to develop business cases.
- Proficiency in creating use-case diagrams, business model diagrams, and flowcharts.
- Knowledge of bug reporting tools such as Jira and Quality Center.
- Flexibility with working hours.
