Associate Sr QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications. This role requires strong collaboration within an Agile/Scrum environment and a proactive approach to improving testing processes and automation coverage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing efforts.
- Design, build, maintain, and execute automated tests for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot test automation environments and frameworks to ensure stability and scalability.
- Create reusable, scalable, and reliable automation frameworks aligned with project requirements.
- Define and implement effective test automation strategies, including planning and prioritizing testing activities across project releases.
- Execute automated regression and functional test suites, analyze results, and report findings accurately.
- Identify and implement improvements in testing methodologies, tools, and automation coverage.
- Investigate, debug, and troubleshoot defects across Web, API, Mobile, and related application components.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Provide timely status updates, detailed reports, and actionable testing insights to project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in automation software testing.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as TestNG and TDD/BDD-based frameworks.
- Practical experience with API testing and API automation.
- Working knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools, with preference for Azure DevOps, as well as proficiency in Git operations.
- Solid understanding of various testing types including Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, System, UAT, and Database Testing.
- Experience in database validation and SQL queries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Performance and Stress Testing is a plus; familiarity with JMeter is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Knowledge of automation framework architecture, design patterns, implementation, scalability, and maintenance best practices.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across Web, API, and Mobile applications.
