Key Responsibilities
The Associate Supply Chain Planner will manage the full spend lifecycle for assigned categories and brands, aiming to maximize value while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing risks related to aged or obsolete products. This role requires negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms, managing purchase orders based on demand and availability, and collaborating with distributors and manufacturers to forecast inventory needs by warehouse location. The planner will provide guidance to sales and customer teams on purchasing strategies and inventory management, identify cost-saving opportunities, and develop alternative sourcing options for constrained products. Maintaining strong relationships across departments and with external partners is essential, as is staying current with category and manufacturer terminology and technology. Additionally, this role may involve managing a team that includes associate buyers and pricing specialists, both locally and internationally.

Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is mandatory. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience working within an offshore or outsourced model that combines sales, operations, and supply chain functions. Experience in the reseller hardware/software industry is preferred. A general understanding of information technology products and terminology is also desirable.
