Associate Team Lead- Data Engineer

Devsinc is seeking a highly motivated Associate Team Lead - Data Engineer to join our dynamic data team. In this key role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines that convert raw data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape our data architecture, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and scalability. Your expertise in data engineering will be instrumental in driving the success of our data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable data pipelines and data models to streamline ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
- Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver robust data solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Implement validation and testing mechanisms to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Utilize cloud services and data warehousing platforms to efficiently store and manage large datasets.
- Monitor production data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to maintain data availability.
- Support data governance initiatives by enforcing best practices related to data security, privacy, and compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering to continuously improve processes and tools.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in data engineering or a related role, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience with ETL tools and technologies including Apache Airflow, Talend, or AWS Glue.
- Skilled in programming languages like Python or Scala for data processing tasks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including their data services.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with technologies like Snowflake or Redshift.
- Excellent problem-solving skills focused on maintaining data integrity and optimizing performance.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Proactive in learning and adopting new tools and technologies within the data ecosystem.
