Associate Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor with a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in video editing and content creation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics, combined with practical experience using AI-powered tools to enhance and streamline the video production process. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can transform raw footage into polished, engaging content tailored for various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit compelling videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Create short-form content such as reels, shorts, and promotional videos.
- Perform video cutting, transitions, effects, audio synchronization, and color correction to enhance video quality.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, and visual effects as needed.
- Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver accordingly.
- Optimize videos to meet the specifications and best practices of different social media platforms.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Utilize AI tools to support video editing, content creation, enhancement, captioning, and workflow automation.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in video editing, AI technologies, and social media content styles.

Required Qualifications

- At least 1 year of practical experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, transitions, and color correction.
- Experience producing videos specifically for social media and marketing purposes.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for video editing and content creation, such as Runway, Adobe Firefly, CapCut AI, or comparable platforms.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work is highly desirable.
