Asst Networking Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Network Administrator to manage and maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of our data communications network. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and monitoring all active network equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted network operations. This role involves troubleshooting network issues, implementing security protocols, and continuously optimizing network performance to support our organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate customer networks and in-house servers.
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
- Monitor and apply necessary updates to network systems.
- Support and administer third-party applications related to network infrastructure.
- Ensure network security and maintain consistent connectivity.
- Monitor network performance metrics such as availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency, while testing for vulnerabilities.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords to maintain secure access.
- Resolve network-related issues reported by end users promptly.
- Define and enforce network policies and procedures.
- Specify system requirements and design effective network solutions.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on server system administration improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a network administrator role with hands-on expertise in networking, routing, and switching.
- Strong knowledge of best practices for managing, controlling, and monitoring server infrastructure.
- At least six months of experience working with firewalls, Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), Internet VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware efficiently.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
