JOB SUMMARY
The senior graphic designer will be responsible for planning, researching, creating, and executing quality design layouts for digital content and branding material. The incumbent will manage all aspects of visual design creation, refine projects and drafts, and generate creative ideas as per our marketing needs. He/she should be flexible to work online and ensure the delivery of assignments on agreed timelines.
What You’ll Do
- Create visual aspects of marketing materials, website design, landing page design, infographics, GIFs, motion graphics, layouts for product illustrations, and social media posts.
- Work with cross-functional teams, briefing and advising them about design style, format, print production, and timescales.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects from conception to delivery.
- Monitor & review junior designer’s performance and drafts to ensure quality as per Astera’s brand guidelines.
- Ensure brand consistency throughout various marketing projects.
- Coordinate with different departmental teams, briefing and advising them about design style, format, print production, and timescales for design projects and delivery.
- Contemplate and pitch new ideas and design concepts to introduce creativity and innovation to existing marketing materials.
- Take in constructive criticism and produce a variety of design solutions.
What You’ll Need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Media Science/Marketing or relevant discipline
- 4-6 years of proven experience and a compelling portfolio of a wide range of creative projects in graphic designing, motion graphics, and visual communication
- Ability to design and produce marketing communication materials across a variety of media (print & digital)
- Exceptional expertise in design software and editing tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects
- Strong knowledge of different design techniques, visual layout elements, graphic fundamentals, and typography
- An excellent understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate brand identity, advertisements, and multimedia design
- A keen eye for aesthetics and visual details
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 2D animation will be a PLUS!
