ASTO Life Sciences seeks a knowledgeable and dedicated Clinical Specialist - Medication Delivery to promote and support its medication delivery product portfolio, which includes I.V. Cannulas, Spinal Needles, and Syringes. This role serves as the primary clinical expert and resource for these products, providing hands-on demonstrations and in-service training to healthcare professionals at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent registered nursing degree, an active nursing license, and significant clinical experience in critical care, emergency, or IV therapy/vascular access. With at least three years of relevant experience, the Clinical Specialist leverages clinical expertise to effectively communicate product benefits and safety to physicians, nurses, and procurement committees, ensuring adoption and adherence to medication delivery protocols. This position requires a self-motivated, results-oriented professional who excels in fostering strong relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical stakeholders. The Clinical Specialist actively contributes to developing targeted sales strategies to exceed revenue and product adoption goals. By gathering and sharing field clinical data, customer feedback, and competitor intelligence, they play a vital role in shaping marketing initiatives and supporting commercial operations. While this role involves extensive travel within the assigned territory, it does not include team management responsibilities.
Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell medication delivery products such as I.V. Cannulas, Spinal Needles, and Syringes to healthcare facilities including hospitals and clinics.
  • Serve as the primary clinical expert for medication delivery products by conducting hands-on product demonstrations and providing in-service training to healthcare staff.
  • Leverage nursing experience to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and procurement committees about product safety, efficacy, and clinical benefits.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue and product adoption objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical stakeholders within the healthcare community.
  • Collect and report field clinical data, customer feedback, and competitor intelligence to inform the marketing and management teams.
  • Support the broader commercial team by providing clinical expertise to assist in tender submissions and institutional evaluations.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of medication delivery protocols, infection control measures, and healthcare workflow optimization.
  • Utilize exceptional presentation and communication skills to confidently convey complex technical and clinical information to medical professionals.
  • Maintain active nursing licensure and clinical competence, staying current with best practices in medication delivery and patient care.
  • Travel within the assigned territory as required to provide clinical support, training, and customer engagement.
