§ Primary Function: Enable self-help pathways for patient through website:
§ Primary function: Website for customers for online medical consultation doctors, systems will be able to record customer’s details, upload files, and ability to send email, customers will be able to create log in, register, pay online, can have yearly consultations fee, one off consultation, self-help for medical conditions. (Pathways to be agreed)
§ Primary Function : International Consultations: people in UK, Pakistan and Middle east to have UK based doctors available
§ Primary Function: Intranet for all HR, Rota, Polices management including Learning Dashboard and information (BI) reporting bulding via Microsoft Power BI and SQL
§ App for Android / Apple
Job Description:
- Strong programming knowledge required of PHP 5.6 & PHP 7.x
- Deep architectural knowledge of WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of Web Servers
- Have ability to extend WordPress (Plugin & Theme Development).
- Multi-Sites Development experience required.
- Identify the gaps in what has been provided to vs what is currently live to establish what is required in terms of development
- Ongoing support - CSS, HTML, JavaScript
- GUI design and functionality build.
- Ability to test how any developments, updates or new plugins impact the site and what if any conflicts there are.
- Improve on work arounds by having better development as opposed to work around.
- Review the site security
- Also need to develop a framework for better handling of data capture, eg centrally and with improved functionality e.g. parking submissions rather than leaving them unprocessed
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsibile for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
3+ year of experience required in WordPress development
